Our Data Erasure Lab uses the most technologically advanced equipment and processes in order to ensure that data-bearing equipment is erased to the most stringent global standards. We use the world’s most sophisticated Blancco data erasure software – which performs 50,000 data erasures per day worldwide and exceeds the highest government security specifications in 15 countries including the US, Britain and Germany.
By utilising Blancco software, we ensure all of your data from your IT Assets are securely and completely destroyed prior to remarketing or recycling. Data erased by Blancco is permanent; it cannot be recovered. Blancco wipes each drive 3 times before passing it as 100% successfully erased. This in turn allows the IT Asset to be safely remarketed by AMI without any risk of remaining customer residual data, protecting against fraud and loss of sensitive company data.
Any hard disk drives or data bearing devices that cannot be successfully wiped or are not suitable for remarketing, are disposed of using the AMI’s mobile shredding service. This literally shreds all storage media into debris no larger than 20mm in diameter providing guaranteed destruction of customer data. All failed items are scanned from unit and tracked into the shredder. The ‘Certificate of Destruction’ issued after every shredding process is proof that Secure Destruction of Confidential Material has been completed in full compliance with the EN 15713:2009 accredited standard.
