Rob joined AMI as Chairman in 2018. He works closely with the CEO and Executive leadership teams providing both strategic and governance support. Rob has significant experience in growing fast moving global businesses, whether as an entrepreneur, alongside private equity or within a listed corporation. He is passionate about helping driven individuals to maximise their potential. A keen sportsman Rob enjoys skiing in the winter and kite surfing when the sun is out.
Chief Executive Officer
Philip has been at the heart of AMI since its inception in 2001. After spending three years selling refurbished IT equipment, Philip and his business partner John spotted a gap in the market for secure data destruction and co-founded AMI. Starting as Operations Director, Philip has been leading the company since John retired in 2014. As CEO, Philip has seen AMI through years of exceptional growth in size and capability while fostering a culture of honesty, accountability, and client focus. He is responsible for AMI’s strategic direction and day-to-day performance. Philip is passionate about data security and sustainability and feels very fortunate to lead a highly accredited organisation that focuses on both. He has a keen interest in mid-century furniture.
Chief Commercial Officer
Faye joined the AMI team in 2014, bringing with her, over 12 years of sales, customer service and business operations experience. She has a passion for continuous improvement, placing the customer at the centre of our operations. As well as leading the sales, marketing and customer service teams at AMI, Faye is deeply involved in shaping AMI’s strategy and ensuring operations are in line with long-term business goals. Over her career, which includes eight years’ experience in the IT sector, Faye has demonstrated an outstanding ability to identify market opportunities and has been instrumental in ensuring the growth and success of AMI. She loves travelling, especially city breaks. Faye was recently listed in the Business First 40 under 40.
Chief Operations Officer
Since joining AMI in 2012 Giles has been responsible for overseeing ongoing operations and procedures, ensuring that day to day activities are carried out in an efficient, compliant, safe and secure manner. With a passion for effectiveness and efficiency, Giles oversees operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve company processes whilst ensuring that the highest standards are achieved and maintained in accordance with quality assurance, industry standards and security policies. Prior to joining AMI, Giles spent 12 years as Senior Contract Manager at Spadeoak. Giles enjoys water-skiing, rugby and a good steak.
Business Unit Director
Jamie joined AMI in 2019 as Business Unit Director for Refreshedbyus.com, he brings over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Jamie is responsible for running the RBU business to drive its continued growth and ensure a high level of customer service. Prior to joining AMI Jamie held the roles of Professional Services Director in a NI based software company and Head of Support Services for a UK based IT service provider. As a father of two, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family, watching sport and occasionally attempting to play some.
Derval joined AMI in 2019 as Finance Controller. Derval is responsible for AMI’s day-to-day financial operation and working with the Senior Management Team to help drive AMI’s growth and strategic plans. Derval has to date gained a wealth of cross-industry financial knowledge, having worked within audit and corporate finance departments at Deloitte and KPMG, and more recently as financial controller for a NI based software company. Derval graduated from Queen’s University Belfast and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant’s Ireland. In her free time Derval enjoys travelling and is a keen foodie.
Key Account Manager
Brigid recently joined AMI in March 2019 as Key Account Manager. Brigid’s primary role is to manage the partnership with key client accounts, being responsible for maintaining and developing these relationships and managing projects and contracts for IT asset disposal, remarketing and deployment support solutions. Brigid began her career as a marketing graduate but over time, quickly developed a passion for account management. Always, placing the customer at the centre of our operations, Brigid thrives on developing long-term relationships with customers and channel partners and has over 8 years’ experience in Key Account Management. Outside of work Brigid enjoys travelling & socialising with friends & family.
Client Relationship Manager
Lorraine joined AMI in 2016 initially as client support administrator and now manages our busy client support team. She strives to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and thrives on building relationships and dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis. Lorraine has over 25 years of experience in customer services with almost 10 of those in the IT disposal industry, so her wealth of experience and expertise is instrumental in guiding the team. A busy mum with three daughters, Lorraine takes a keen interest in their extra-curricular hobbies which include football and Irish dancing.
Global Partner Manager
Jeremy joined AMI in August 2014. Having cut his teeth as a financial advisor in London, Jeremy moved into Business Development within the recycling sector more than 10 years ago. He has recently switched roles within AMI to the Global Partner Manager which reflects our wide geographical reach. Jeremy enjoys a wide variety of sport although his knees and back have less appreciation for them.
